The King of Morocco, Mohammed VI, arrived Kigali Tuesday evening marking the first leg of his three-state tour of eastern Africa.
At his arrival to the airport of Kigali, the Moroccan monarch was received by Rwandan President Paul Kagame and the members of the Rwandan government, also has been also greeted by a military parade and folk groups who expressed the warm and special meaning they carried for the visit of the Moroccan monarch
The visit to Rwanda by the King Mohammed VI is a reciprocation of a visit by President Paul Kagame in June this year, when he had a two-day state visit to the North African state.
During President Kagame’s visit, he was decorated by King Mohammed VI with the Grand Collar of Wissam Al-Mohammadi, Morocco’s highest national award of honour.
